Author School Visits & Book Club Material for Howl
I love talking with children about my passion for writing, their passion for writing, the writing process in general, my personal experience writing Howl, tweaking the craft of writing… basically, everything writing. Book Club Author Visits: If ten or more students read Howl in an extra-curricular book club, I offer an after-school book discussion session. (In person in NYC, or via Skype everywhere else.)
Larger School Author Visits: I offer educators a free author school visit, in either a large auditorium format, or smaller classroom settings which involve students also writing. (In person in NYC, or via Skype everywhere else.)
